The People Buy People Method™
Get in front of the right people. Then let them get to know you.
A founder led growth system for established agencies. We create real conversations with the exact people you want as clients, then turn those conversations into relationships, authority, and opportunities.
Built for founders who already have a proven service and want better clients, not more leads.
Start here
More leads is not always the goal.
You have probably been sold volume for years. More traffic. More leads. More calls booked.
But think about what would actually change your year.
For a strong agency with a high ticket service, one to three great new clients a month can change everything. Not thirty. Three.
The right three. People who value what you know. People you enjoy talking to. People you can do exceptional work for, and stay with for years.
Less, but better.
The difference
A lead is not a relationship.
Let me be clear about something first. Lead generation works. Ads work. Funnels work. I have used all of it for more than ten years and I still do.
This is not an argument against any of that.
It is a point about where you start.
A lead gives you an opportunity. Someone raised their hand. Now you have to earn everything else from a standing start.
A relationship changes the starting position. They already know how you think. The conversation begins somewhere further down the road.
Same person. Very different first meeting.
The belief underneath all of it
People buy into you first. Then they buy what you sell.
Most agency marketing runs that order backwards.
It leads with the service. Then the benefits. Then the offer, the case studies, the testimonials, the video. And then it hopes all of that adds up to enough trust in the people behind the company to win the deal.
It can work. It has worked for me.
But it is doing the hardest part last, and doing it through a screen.
PBP builds familiarity with the person first. The service comes up when there is a real reason for it to.
Position
The moment you are a service, you can be compared.
Most founders enter a client relationship as a vendor without meaning to. You become the ads guy. The SEO company. The email agency. Once you are inside a category, everyone in that category is a substitute for you.
Service provider
“Can you run our Facebook ads?”
- Compared on price and deliverables
- Valued for execution
- Easy to put in a category
- Easier to replace
Growth partner
“Here is where we want to take the company. What do you think we should do?”
- Valued for judgment
- Trusted with bigger decisions
- The relationship can grow past one channel
- Hard to compare on a price sheet
Do not just execute the play. Become the person they trust to help choose the play.
Maybe the answer is Facebook ads. Maybe it is SEO. Maybe it is content. Maybe it is fixing the offer first. Maybe the right call is to do nothing at all until something else gets solved.
That is a growth partner. The service is the vehicle. Your thinking is the value.
And you do not get that position by putting the words on your website. The client decides whether you have earned it.
One way, or two way
A VSL can explain your value. A conversation lets them experience it.
- 01
A lead is valuable. But a lead is not automatically a relationship.
- 02
A video can explain how you think. A conversation lets someone feel it, in real time, about their own business.
- 03
A case study proves you helped another company. A real conversation proves you understand theirs.
- 04
A webinar lets you say you care about outcomes. A relationship gives you the chance to show it.
None of this makes those tools wrong. They are good tools. They scale, they qualify, they teach.
They just cannot do the one thing a conversation does, which is let another person sit across from you and decide, for themselves, that you are worth listening to.
That decision is the whole ballgame when the price is high.
Your advantage
Your biggest competitive advantage might be you.
Anyone can copy this
- Your services
- Your funnels
- Your offer
- Your ad strategy
- Your pricing
- Your technology
- Your deliverables
Nobody can copy this
- Your experience
- Your personality and your relationships
- Your stories and your opinions
- What you notice that others miss
- Your values and your point of view
- The way you solve a problem
- How much you care about the outcome
Most founders keep all of that hidden behind a logo and a service list.
Being founder led does not mean the founder does everything. Delegate the fulfillment. Delegate the repetitive work.
Scale your workload down. Scale your influence up.
Which leaves the obvious question. How do you get these conversations to happen, on purpose, with the right people?
How it works
We changed the reason the right people want to talk to you.
First we find them. Targeted outbound, built around the exact people you would genuinely want to know. Not a list of anyone with a pulse and a job title.
Then comes the part that actually matters.
We do not open with any of this:
- “Can I get 15 minutes?”
- “We help businesses like yours…”
- “Would you like a demo?”
Every one of those asks them to become a prospect before they have any reason to want to be one.
So we give them a different reason to sit down.
We invite them into a genuinely valuable business conversation, packaged as a podcast or a founder interview. They are not walking into a pitch. They are walking into a conversation about their work, with someone who is actually interested.
People say yes to that. They rarely say yes to fifteen minutes.
PBP is not a podcasting offer.
The podcast is the container. The product is the relationship. The specialty is starting valuable conversations with the right people, predictably.
What it feels like
Two founders talking shop over coffee.
Relaxed. Natural. Nothing scripted, and no pitch hanging over the table.
- What is working right now
- What is not
- Where they are trying to take the company
- What they are seeing in their market
- What they learned the hard way
They get to experience how you think. You get to understand their business. Trust builds the way it actually builds, which is slowly and by itself.
If a reason to work together shows up later, the next conversation makes sense. If it does not, you both got something out of it anyway.
Replace this block with an <img>. The page is designed to look finished without it.
The workload question
We run the engine. You bring the expertise.
When founders hear outbound, relationships, podcast, and content in the same sentence, they hear more work. That is a fair worry, so here is the split.
We handle
- Finding and researching the right people
- All of the outreach and the follow up
- Booking and scheduling
- Recording, editing, and production
- Turning conversations into content
- Distribution
- Running the machine week after week
You handle
- Show up
- Talk shop
- Be yourself
- Share what you have learned
- Ask good questions
- Build the relationship
That is the whole job. Speak from the thing you are already best at.
The second payout
One conversation should keep working after it ends.
You already know an enormous amount. Ten years of it, maybe twenty. The problem was never that you have nothing to say. It is that nobody has time to sit down and produce it.
So we take it out of the conversation you were already having.
- Short form video and reels
- Written posts and founder opinions
- Insights and stories
- Long form pieces
- Authority assets you own
You never sit in front of a blank screen wondering what to post. You talk about what you already know. We capture it.
Compounding
Put more fishing lines in the water.
Every useful piece of content is another line out there working while you do something else.
One piece might create an opportunity today.
Another gets shared six months from now.
Another introduces you to somebody two years from now, long after you forgot you made it.
Paid attention stops the moment you stop paying. This does not. It stays up, and it keeps introducing you.
Not every piece produces business. That is not the claim. The claim is accumulation: more useful content means more chances for the right person to find you, and over time that adds up.
The third payout
One relationship can open an entire room.
A relationship is not worth one sale. The right one might turn into any of these, and often more than one at a time:
- A client
- A referral
- An introduction
- A strategic partner
- Access to a network you could not reach
- An audience
- A stage
- A conference invitation
I have had relationships turn into speaking opportunities and conference invitations that nobody could have predicted when the first conversation happened.
Trust transfers
If somebody trusts you, and they introduce you to somebody who trusts them, you do not walk into that next conversation cold. You walk in borrowed against their credibility.
That is worth more than any list.
And your guests share it
When someone sits down for a conversation, they usually share what comes out of it with their own people. So their network meets you through somebody they already trust.
That is a network effect wrapped around the content and the relationships at the same time.
The compounding loop
One conversation does several jobs at once.
- The right personChosen on purpose, not scraped
- A valuable conversationThey wanted to be there
- A relationshipTwo founders, not buyer and seller
- TrustEarned in real time, not claimed
- ContentPulled from what you already said
- DistributionYours, and theirs
- NetworkTheir room opens to you
- More opportunitiesSome now, some much later
- More relationshipsAnd the loop starts again
The last step feeds the first one. That is the part people miss. A funnel spends attention. This accumulates it.
Here is why this matters more than any single step in it.
A booked call does one job. If it does not close, the money and the effort are simply gone.
One conversation here can create a business opportunity today, and at the same time leave behind assets and a relationship that keep producing long after the call is over.
You are not buying meetings. You are building something that keeps paying out.
The business case
Build a better agency, not just a bigger pipeline.
Here is the honest version of the economics.
An agency that keeps replacing clients has to keep buying new ones. Acquisition never gets to slow down, because the back door is always open.
Better fit relationships change that math. Not by magic, and not with a guarantee. Just by being a better starting point.
Deeper relationships with better fit clients have the potential to produce:
- Stronger retention
- Higher lifetime value
- Room to expand past the first service
- Less pressure on price
- Better work, because you understand the business
- Clients you actually enjoy
I am saying potential deliberately. Nobody can promise you retention or lifetime value, and anyone who does is selling you something. What I can tell you is that the relationship is the input that makes all six of those more likely.
Why I built this
I did not read this in a book.
My name is Angel Pichardo. I have spent more than ten years in digital marketing. Paid ads, funnels, VSLs, webinars, cold outreach, content, automation, AI, lead generation, client acquisition. I have run most of it, and I still do.
Over those years I have advised, coached, learned alongside and worked with hundreds of agency owners. I sit down with founders constantly and get to look inside how their businesses actually work.
PBP came out of a pattern I could not stop noticing.
The most established founders I meet all had something in common. Their best client relationships went far past delivering one service. They understood the company. They understood what the founder was trying to build. They cared about the outcome. And their clients came to them before making the big decisions, not after.
Those relationships lasted years. That was the whole difference.
So we built the process that creates those relationships on purpose, and we run it inside our own agency. We built it, we dialed it in, and we use it ourselves. That is the only reason I am comfortable putting my name on it.
One thing I will not tell you: that this works for everyone, or that it works fast. It is a relationship system. Relationships take a minute. If you need clients this week, this is the wrong thing to buy.
Fit
This is not for everyone, and that is on purpose.
Built for
- Established agency founders with a proven service
- High ticket consultants
- B2B experts and specialized service companies
- Anyone whose buyers decide based on expertise, judgment and trust
- Founders who want fewer, better client relationships
- Founders with the capacity to take on more work
Not built for
- Anyone without a service that already works
- Anyone who needs leads overnight
- Anyone unwilling to show up and have the conversations
- Anyone who wants client acquisition to be completely hands off
- Anyone already at full capacity with no room to grow
If you are in the second column, I would rather you know now. It saves us both a conversation, and I would rather be honest than get one more call on the calendar.
The whole idea
Your service matters.
Your case studies matter.
Your results matter.
But before anyone trusts you with their business, they need a reason to trust the people behind it.
People buy into you first. Then they buy what you sell.
Build the relationship. Let them experience how you think. Then offer the right solution, at the moment it makes sense.
That is the whole method. Everything we run is in service of it.
A short conversation to see whether it fits. No pitch if it does not.
